A Change of Season

Tomorrow (Friday) will be the last day of our school programs–wow! We had about 6000 school kids visit the ranch this spring, with the farm program as our most popular. The farm program includes a pony ride, a visit to the farm, and a hay ride–classic! The school children also enjoyed riding, survival games, eco games, initiative tasks, canoeing, archery, orienteering, owl prowl, you name it… more

Another day of school groups has come and gone… and after all the kids walk down the hill and out, Zibi says goodbye, then cleans up after them and heads back up to the lodge. more

I went down to the farm just now to visit the animals. I told Teddy I’d put his picture up on the blog if he put on a big smile–and he did. I didn’t know pot-bellied pigs could smile so nicely! more
